Legal graduate / Legal Assistant

£25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

Maidenhead (hybrid)

Working hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm

We are working with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Legal Graduate to join their Conveyancing team.

This would suit a law graduate who has not yet completed their LPC or SQE.

Key duties include:

- Setting up new file
- Drafting legal documents
- Attending to clients over the phone and in person, recording messages
- Assist with the processing of remortgages and transfers of equity, supported by the relevant lawyer
- Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining the diary
- Provide support for other team members
- Assist with archiving, housekeeping and billing
- Work through the firm’s case management system, preparing documents, mortgage deeds, land registry searches.
- Prepare financial statements prior to completion
- Ensure completions take place on the prescribed day and liaise with clients on keys and possessions
