Location: Webb Ellis Court, Scarborough

Permanent, Part Time 4 week variable rota: Week 1 - Sat/Sun (21.5 hours), Week 2 - Friday (10.5 Hours), Week 3 - Mon/Tues (21.5 hours), Week 4 - Friday (10.5 hours)

£19,360 per annum pro rata, plus Great Benefits

£9.90 per hour if you’d prefer to work on our bank on a casual basis

We have fabulous job opportunity for you to join our awesome team. We are supporting older people aged 55+ with varying care and support needs to live independently in their own home and enjoy their well-earned retirement

We offer high quality living in our 63 beautifully designed apartments with a variety of on-site facilities including assisted living technology through Tunstall, wellbeing and care provision, restaurant, café, hair/beauty salon, communal rooms, and picturesque landscaped gardens. As our Security Officer (known by us as Housing Concierge) you’ll play a really important role in supporting the smooth running of our service. You’ll make sure that our buildings and customers are safe and secure, and that we get on with our neighbours

You’ll get involved in lots of different activities which will include monitoring CCTV, regularly patrolling the premises, monitoring visitors to and from the building and ensuring tenancy conditions and service rules are adhered to. You’ll also be our first point of contact for customers during the night and at times we’ll also need you to do some general cleaning duties too.

To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe)

It would be amazing if you have worked in this type of environment before, however it’s your “can do” positive attitude and enthusiasm that are critical to make this role a success. We can nurture your talent, just let us know in your cover letter why you have a passion for working here

**About our team**

Although you’ll work nights, we do get together regularly in the daytime for training and team meetings. You’ll be part of our wider team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements. To us were not just a team we’re a ‘work family’. Our manager is Jemma Punch who has lots of experience working in various housing roles. There are 19 of us in the team and we don’t just love to support our customers, we’re there for each other too

**Working hours**

We provide 24-hour support to our customers each day and every day. In this role you’ll work during the twilight hours doing waking nights work. You’ll work on a rota basis and take your turn working nights and bank holidays. We look need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you

Looking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank. You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.
