We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of **Support Worker (Waking Nights)** to join our amazing team at **Avalon Group** working in the **Scarborough** area.

**Pay rates**start at £12.27 an hour with weekends, evenings, and nights paid at a higher hourly rate. We also pay Non-Customer Contact Time between consecutive sessions of support which are less than 2 hours, and double pay on Bank Holidays.

**Contract**: This is a permanent role with a contract

**Shift patterns**:We offer shift patterns such as 10pm-7am or 10:15pm-7:15am depending on

which customer you are supporting on any given night. are also other shifts available with some of our other amazing customers in the Scarborough area.

**Hours**: We currently offer part time or full time roles.

**Key responsibilities**:
We are looking for Support Workers to work waking night shifts at our Scarborough locality.

You would be working as part of a large team over two of our services, of which both of the customers are male. One gentleman has epilepsy and additional needs, the other has cerebral palsy. They are both non-verbal so having good communication skills will be key when interacting with the customers as well as the other team members.

As a waking night support worker you will do routine checks, support the gentlemen with their needs and help to maintain a warm, homely environment. Previous experience is not needed, we provide full training and support throughout your employment with us, enabling you to develop skills and create long lasting relationships with the customers you support
