Senior Care Assistant/team Leader

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of employees to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to foster their professional growth and development
- Monitor team performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination, care planning and communication
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline processes
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for team members
- Resolve conflicts or issues within the team in a timely and effective manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

- NVQ3 in Health& Social Care or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £11.55 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week

**Experience**:

- providing care: 4 years (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Alnwick (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Alnwick: Relocate before starting work (required)
