**About the Digital Marketing Officer Role**

As a digital marketing officer, you'll drive awareness, traffic and lead generation of Prolectric’s products and services via our website, online advertising and paid social media.

You’ll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the wider marketing team to plan and execute SEO, PPC and paid social campaigns as part of an integrated, multi-channel approach. Monitoring and optimising their success and reporting back results.

You’ll specialise in one or more of the following digital marketing techniques:

- Search engine optimisation (SEO)
- Pay-per-click (PPC)
- Paid social media marketing
- Mobile marketing - including app-based, location-based and SMS marketing
- Affiliate/content syndication

**Key responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of SEO to support the growth in traffic and improvement of our website, implementing and tracking websites improvements
- Using web analytics software to monitor the performance of the websites and make recommendations for improvement
- Conducting keyword research and web statistics reporting
- Develop, implement, monitor and optimise innovative digital marketing campaigns
- including PPC (keyword, display), SEO and paid social
- Manage relationships with third-party media providers and content distributors to deliver advertising and content campaigns
- Creating engaging digital content that increases customer engagement and enhances the organisation’s online brand presence
- Briefing and liaising with external agencies/developers
- Creating and uploading copy and images for the organisation's website
- Assisting with web visuals and website banners
- Researching new online media opportunities that may benefit the business, including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
- Compile regular reports on website performance, PPC, SEO and Paid Social campaigns, to help the team in shaping future campaigns to drive optimal ROI and progress against set KPIs
- Working closely with the Marketing, Sales and Innovation team colleagues to ensure all activity is integrated.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Officer / Executive or similar role in a B2B environment
- Excellent knowledge of current and upcoming digital media trends
- Understanding of how to drive sales and awareness via SEO/SEM, paid search, social and domain ranking
- Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SE Ranking and proficiency in website content management systems
- Demonstratable experience in SEO, PPC and paid social campaigns
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Results orientated, with strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent written communication skills to produce high-quality content
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, busy team and equally on your initiative
- The ability to manage multiple projects, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Without a related degree, you’ll be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in digital marketing with evidence of a strong personal online profile, such as a blog or website or with connections and interactions on various social media platforms.
