**The Role**:
- Liverpool City Council is offering an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of tackling homelessness and shaping the future of housing support in our city
- You will ensure the Council meets its legal responsibilities under the Housing Act 1996 (as amended), responding to reviews within statutory timescales while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance
- Working closely with legal teams and senior management, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of review procedures, ensuring best practices are followed to minimise legal challenges. In addition, you will oversee Housing Options Service complaints, liaise with the Housing Ombudsman, and identify service improvements through case audits and performance analysis
- This is a fantastic opportunity to influence homelessness policy, provide expert advice and training to colleagues, and ensure the highest level of customer service for vulnerable residents in need of support
