We are an established catering supplies company looking for honest and hard working people with punctual timekeeping.

**Goods Receiving**:Unloading incoming shipments from trucks or delivery vehicles.
Checking the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders or delivery notes.
Recording and reporting any damaged or missing items.
Sorting and labeling received items for proper storage.

**Storage and Inventory Management**:Storing goods in designated areas or shelving units based on inventory management systems.
Organizing and arranging inventory to maximize storage space and facilitate easy retrieval.
Keeping track of stock levels and conducting regular inventory counts.

**Order Picking and Packing**:Retrieving items from the warehouse based on customer orders or requisitions.
Packing items securely and appropriately for shipment, following specific guidelines if required.
Labelling packages with shipping information and ensuring accuracy.

**Shipping and Dispatch**:Loading packaged orders onto trucks or delivery vehicles for outbound shipments.
Ensuring that the correct items and quantities are loaded for each delivery.

**Maintaining Cleanliness and Safety**:Keeping the warehouse environment clean, organized, and free from clutter.
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
Reporting any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or potential risks.

**Equipment Operation**:Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and transport goods.
Conducting routine maintenance checks on equipment and reporting any malfunctions.

**Team Collaboration**:Collaborating with other warehouse operatives and team members to accomplish tasks efficiently.
Communicating effectively with supervisors, managers, and other departments regarding inventory status and orders.

**Adhering to Procedures**:Following company policies and procedures related to inventory handling, quality control, and safety protocols.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
