We are looking for a **Advanced Assembly Operator **for our **Production Department **on a permanent contract **based at Solihull, UK **as a part of expanding the business activities of **Upergy in the UK.**

**Main duties**:
Reporting to the **Production Manager** you will perform the following tasks: - to assemble battery packs
- to follow work instructions and drawings
- to use and maintain small tools and equipment
- to keep work area organised, clean and tidy
- to follow health and safety procedures as instructed
- able to develop others within the team Additional training/orientation will be provided to improve your ability in the tasks described as well as your development in our company. Our group is committed to being an equal opportunities employer.

**Profile / skills required**:
Relevant experience in electronics or electrical engineering would be beneficial. Must be experienced in soldering, preferably trained to IPC-610 standards. Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant field i.e. Battery, Industrial, Production or Manufacturing

Proficient with computer tools, in particular: MS Office. With good communication skills able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced working environment, energetic and resilient under pressure. An active listener with good interpersonal and analytical skills and has the ability to interact well with customers / colleagues

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per hour
