We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our small, friendly team. This dual role offers a great opportunity to work both front-of-house in our café and directly with children in our afterschool club.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Café Duties (Daytime & Weekends)**:

- Serve food and drinks to families and children
- Prepare light meals, snacks, and barista-style hot drinks
- Keep the café and play area clean, tidy, and welcoming
- Handle payments and use the till system
- Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude

**Afterschool Club Duties (Afternoons, Term-Time)**:

- Help supervise and engage children aged 4-11 in a variety of activities (crafts, games, cookery, etc.)
- Assist with school pickups (on foot - local schools only)
- Serve snacks and help prepare hot meals
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and fun environment
- Work collaboratively with the Club Lead and other staff

**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience working with children (professional or voluntary)
- Experience in a hospitality, retail, or café setting (preferred)
- A positive, energetic and caring nature
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
- Flexible availability (afternoons essential)

**Requirements**:

- DBS check (can be arranged through us if needed)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (desirable - or willing to complete training)
- First Aid and/or childcare qualifications are a bonus
