This position will put you at the front line of our customer relations, to uphold our values from the first point of contact until delivery and beyond. Customer retention and promoting the Atkinsons brand is our priority. This position is made for someone who loves interacting with Customers over the phone, forging relationships in order to maximise our sales and buyback potential and build on the huge success we have already achieved.

**The role requires**:
Strong interpersonal skills, liaising with customers using all communication platforms, with the day to day duties comprising:

- Placing orders on behalf of Customers requiring assistance
- Taking deposits where required to confirm large scale orders
- Requesting Due Diligence documents and reassuring customers who may have compliance queries
- Guiding customers through the full ordering process from their initial contact with us all the way through to post
- delivery after care
- Dealing with customer stock enquiries and product availability
- Interaction with all departments to ensure you have the knowledge and up to date information to successfully answer all enquiries
- Supporting the sales order and buyback flow to ensure an efficient end to end process
- Arranging Courier services and Showroom visits to facilitate our Precious Metal Buy Back scheme
- Raising investigations with Royal Mail for delivery issues, ensuring all parties are kept informed every step of the way
- Keeping abreast of the industry competition and market conditions
- Other ad-hoc duties which may be required to assist with the customer journey
- A great customer service approach with a friendly, patient telephone manner
- An organised work ethic, as this is a fast paced environment
- An ability to take ownership of a problem and solve it to a satisfactory conclusion
- Have good computer skills with experience of online order and fulfilment systems (full training will be provided on our bespoke systems)
- Use of Microsoft office - Excel and Word
