We are a friendly care home and are looking for a book keeper/ accounts clerk to do the invoicing and sort out payment of bills and input them into the accounting system xero. You will need 2 years experience of using an accounting system including xero. Also you will need to have some qualifications if possible such as AAT or ACCA.

We need someone with xero accounting experience and who can phone customers and sort out any queries and chase people for non payment.

Also need to do account reconciliations and check the accounts to see if these are reasonable and to produce the management accounts every month which is straight forward. Repairs and maintenance need to be out in the CAREIS system on a monthly basis.

Job duties include but this is not an exhaustive list

Input sales invoices and purchase invoices into the computerised system.

Create sales invoices

Making phone calls

Uploading invoices into xero.

Filing and photocopying

Liaising with the Director and Management team.

You need to work well under pressure and work well in a team.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 7.5 per week

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour

Schedule:

- No weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
You will need to be tested for covid twice a week and where a mask if you go near residents. Most of the time you will be away from residents and staff

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Worthing, BN11 4LF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
