Location: YMCA Western Gateway as well asoutreach locations in Wrens Nest, Dudley. Home Working may also be necessary.

Responsible to: Head of Health and Wellbeing Service

Responsible for: The development and oversight of WrensNest Navigator Projectto achieve outcomes for aNational Lottery funded project.

Working Hours**:37.5 hours a week **the natureof the job will involve flexible working hours including working evenings andweekends appropriately.

Annual Leave: 20 days, plus statutory holidays.

Background: YMCA Black Country Groupprovides a range of Services including Supported Accommodation, NurseryFacilities, Healthy Living Centre (Sports Hall, Gyms, and Dance Studio), Healthand Wellbeing programmes, Learning and Skills and Community DevelopmentProgrammes.

Remuneration: £12.94 per hour, £25,233.00 per annum

Job Role: The post holder will driveforward the vision of our new Wrens Nest Navigator Project fundedby the National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund. You will work closely withthe Head of Health & Wellbeing Services, along with key strategic partners,to achieve programme outcomes. You will support YMCA Black Country Groupswider holistic health agenda for the betterment of the young people, familiesand adults we serve.

The post holder must be able torespect the Christian Ethos of the YMCA and uphold its values.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Lead on the implementation and vision ofthe proposed programme supporting individuals and families through a variety ofHealth and Wellbeing programmes.

2. Establish and maintain key partnershipsand referral pathways to ensure a strengths based approach is adopted throughthe delivery of the programme.

3. Oversight of day to day operationsincluding line management responsibility for a Volunteer coordinator andsessional staff.

4. To support and engage with a programme evaluation and development of best practice

5. Work to support and develop keypriorities within Dudley and specifically the Wrens Nest area.

6. Work alongside internal departments tosupport Connecting Priorities.

7. Develop and maintain a PerformanceManagement Framework that monitors progression against required outputs andoutcomes. Providing reports as required meeting internal businessplanning/monitoring requirements and external requirements of funders.

8. Ensure financial management of theproject is robust and financial reports/ returns are completed in a timelymanner.

9. Manage, motivate and empower projectstaff providing excellent people management skills leading by example andensuring staff receive training and professional development opportunitiesappropriate to their role/s enabling high quality service delivery.

10. Provide vision and leadership tomotivate and inspire young people, families, and community members to develophealthier lifestyles through, sports, health and wellbeing programmes,volunteering and social action projects.

11. Represent YMCA Black Country Group atexternal events locally, regionally and nationally.

12. Actively seek new opportunities inline with the Charitys Strategic & Business Plan Objectives.

13. Support and invest in staff andvolunteer development.

14. Liaise closely with the YMCAs Head ofSkills and Community to ensure a holistic package of support is delivered tobeneficiaries, ensuring clear pathways into employment, education or socialenterprise initiatives.

15. Ensureeffective marketing of all projects and programmes within this area completingcoproduction activities involving young people, families and volunteers. Usesocial media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and other marketing methods.

**Quality**

16. Monitor and oversee the delivery ofHealth and Wellbeing programmes to ensure high quality is maintained at alltimes.

17. Develop and maintain practices ofcontinuous quality improvement to meet quality standards as required.

18. Ensurethat all:
- a. Qualitystandards are maintained to the highest level.

b. Policiesand procedures are up to date and are being adhered to.

c. Safeguardingconcerns are reported in line with YMCABC Groups processes.

**Administration**:
19. Maintain appropriate records,including beneficiary details, ensuring data protection process are adhered to.

20. Produce progress reports, compiling statisticaland financial data to meet internal reporting, stakeholder and external auditrequirements.

21. Ensure the coordination of sessionalstaff in order to deliver sessions and programmes as required.

**Partnership**:
22. Represent the interests of the YMCA atpartnership / network meetings to promote and further develop the YMCAsHolistic Health & Wellbeing Programmes.

**General**:
23. Participate in staff meetings, provideregular feedback as appropriate.
