Project Manager – Construction / Retail FitoutA great opportunity to join a busy project-led organisation delivering refurbishment and fitout work across the UK. You’ll take ownership of assigned projects and accounts, ensuring safe, efficient delivery from initial survey through to completion. This role suits someone with solid construction or fitout experience who is confident managing contractors, coordinating resources and working closely with customers.About the Business A long-established UK company with a strong track record in delivering multi-site projects. Known for reliability, quality and long-term client relationships. The environment is fast-paced, hands-on and supported by an experienced project delivery team.Location West Midlands based, with regular UK travel. Commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, Stourbridge, West Bromwich and surrounding areas.Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects from survey to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and within budget.Attend sites, define project requirements and plan works effectively.Supervise and coordinate contractors, ensuring safe and efficient site operations.Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams throughout each project.Track progress, manage risk, control costs and oversee all project documentation.Build strong working relationships with suppliers, vendors and stakeholders.What You’ll BringExperience in construction, retail fitout or a related project-led environment.Strong understanding of site processes, trades and safety requirements.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage contractors and solve problems proactively.Confident communication, planning and budgeting skills.Flexibility for extensive travel and occasional out-of-hours work.
