Do you have risk management and compliance experience, and are you seeking a new full-time job in London? We are looking for a Head of Compliance and MLRO, and the role comes with an attractive salary of up to £140,000 and benefits package. The businessprovides wealth management, financial advice, pensions, and fund management services and are in the process of making multiple acquisitions.

As an experienced and measured Head of Compliance and MLRO, you will be instrumental in maintaining the current regulatory regime within the business, including the acquired firms, but also building the compliance, and AML frameworks and providing adviceto the board on both regulatory matters and general strategy as the Group expands.

If you were currently in this Head of Compliance role, here are some of the areas you would have been working on recently:

- Developing and maintaining adequate compliance manuals, policies, guidelines across the Group
- Providing oversight of an effective compliance training programme that promotes a positive risk management and compliance culture
- Managing day-to-day operations of the compliance and MLRO function
- Driving and implementing changes to efficiently conduct compliance and mitigate any AML / CTF risks
- Ensure focused, sound, robust communication with the national regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with the Group finance function over the preparation and ongoing review of the ICARA / ICAAP for the discretionary fund management business
- Attend Group board meetings
- Prior experience in a similar compliance or risk management role
- Familiarity with some of the following businesses financial advice, wealth management, discretionary fund management, pension management (SIPPs) and applicable regulations
- Experience with FCA rules
- Experience in managing and integrating regulatory change
- Experience of acquisitions is useful but not essential
