Software Project Assistant or Administrator

**Key Responsibilities**
- Project Coordination_
- Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking software development projects.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reports.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate updates, ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Documentation & Reporting_
- Create and maintain accurate documentation for all project-related activities, including meeting notes, action items, and project changes.
- Prepare regular project status reports and summaries for internal and client-facing communications.
- Organise and manage project files and data to ensure accessibility for the team.
- Team & Stakeholder Communication_
- Act as a liaison between project managers, developers, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate clear communication.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and presentations, ensuring all necessary stakeholders are informed and prepared.
- Assist in responding to client and team inquiries related to project updates, timelines, and deliverables.
- Quality Control & Issue Tracking_
- Monitor and report project issues, risks, and challenges, working closely with the team to resolve them.
- Assist with quality control and testing processes, verifying that project deliverables meet expected standards and requirements.
- Support the team in using project management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira) to log tasks and monitor project progress.
- Administrative Support_
- Handle project-related administrative tasks, such as preparing presentations, updating project dashboards, and managing schedules.
- Support budget tracking and invoicing activities for ongoing projects.
- Contribute to the improvement of project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Qualifications_
- 1-2 years of experience in a project support, coordination, or administrative role, preferably within the software or technology sector.
- Technical Skills_
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Soft Skills_
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
