We are seeking a mature individual who would like to support a charity organisation to engage more young people and adults in its government funded Skills for Life projects. The projects are managed by Humber Learning Consortium (HLC) and are ultimately designed to increase self-esteem, improve employability and promote social inclusion through construction, cooking, media and health and fitness.

The key focus of this role will be on recruitment and enrolment activities and advising beneficiaries on career pathways. There will be a particular focus on the 16-28 age groups, however the position also offers opportunities to work with younger and older age groups, to do outreach work and assist with marketing.

In order to match our funding obligations, the position is to be offered on a part-time temporary basis in the first instance for 16-20 hours per week, paid at £11.50 per hour. The contract will be reviewed after 3 months in post. The schedule of working hours is to be agreed between the Managing Director and the employee. Vulcan is currently undergoing expansion so although this is 15 month contract there will be opportunities to continue working at Vulcan.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare recruitment materials and promote projects and study programmes to appropriate places e.g. schools, colleges, community groups, job boards

**Requirements**:

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organisational skills
- Up to date DBS
- Evidence of Safeguarding Awareness Training
- Familiarity with enrolment procedures
- IT competent

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 15 months

Pay: From £11.50 per hour
