HR Advisor

RMS are delighted to share an exciting, people focused HR Advisory role on behalf of a leading Tier 1 automotive manufacturer.

One of our client's greatest assets is their people. They consider the fair treatment and retention of their workforce a top priority and as such, are seeking a HR professional who can play an integral part in the preservation of its central services.

This highly visible role reports directly to the HR Manager and functions as part of a small yet proactive, innovative, and responsive people focused team who advise, guide and support operational management teams in all aspects of ER, policy and procedureand compliance.

The role would suit an ER professional that enjoys working in a fast-paced and operational environment, particularly within cross functional teams.

Applicants are required to be CIPD Level 5 qualified and of membership status and will be tasked with the following:

- Day to day operational HR advisory across multi-disciplined manufacturing personnel
- Coordinating Learning & Development activities within budget constraints
- Full management of all absence cases to ensure consistent and fair monitoring, working closely with Occupational Health
- Full management and coordination of all disciplinary and grievance cases, delivering consistency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Working with operational management to facilitate and monitor performance through reviews and regular performance monitoring
- Maintenance of HR policies and procedures and the deployment of best working practices
- Management of recruitment processes up to an including interviewing, selection and onboarding
- Coordination of apprentices and utilisation of apprentice levy funding
- A comprehensive and practical understanding of HR practices, with a particular focus in ER
- Suitable knowledge of current employment law and legislation
- A people focused and can-do approach, in both verbal and written format
- 4 years' experience working in an operationally focused HR Team

Desirable Experience:

- Working in a Learning and Development capacity
- Utilisation of the apprenticeship Levy
- Working with a high-volume, manufacturing environment
