**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
As the control room operator, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring systems and CCTV within the control room. With excellent customer service skills, you will ensure that calls into the control room are recorded in a detailed, accurate manner and dealt with professionally and efficiently.

You will work with colleagues to ensure a smooth handover is carried out at shift change in accordance with the site procedures.

The successful applicant will be confident it writing and submitting detailed reports on incidents that occur during the night to the Duty Manager/Operations Manager, and where relevant the emergency services.

You must hold a valid SIA licence, a 5-year checkable work history, have a smart and professional appearance and a dedication to providing a high-quality customer service.
**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure that all are dealt with, providing a high standard of response
- Provide assistance to third party contractors / visitors ensuring all site procedures/policies are adhered too
- Issue vehicles, vehicle keys and fuel cards to mobile supervisors ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed
- Monitor Health, safety & welfare of security officers via welfare calls
- Monitor time and attendance software (Leaf) to ensure customer sites are manned correctly and all personnel are in attendance
- Monitoring patrols carried out by officers ensuring compliance
- Escalation & cover of unscheduled absences
- Communicating effectively with team members and other areas of the business.
- Undertake additional duties in line with management requests as required
- Liaison with Mobile Supervisors, Security Managers, Emergency Services - dealing with incidents.
- To develop excellent working relationships with our onsite customers.
- Key holding and checking duties
- Completing Incident reports
- Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events.
- A Focus on delivering good customer service is essential
- Must have good communication skills and telephone manner.
- PC skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- High level of commitment and professionalism
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to manage workload to meet team deadlines
- Adaptable with flexible and positive attitude
- Must display the ability to make decisions using the training and guidance provided and sometimes operate within limited time frame.
- You must have a checkable history as per BS7858:2019.
