We are looking for a Civil Design Team Leader to join our growing team and help support the Civil Design Department

**Here’s**
**what you will be doing**:
Taking ownership of a project.-
- Managing a programme of works for the Client, managing all stages.-
- Line manages a dedicated team of Civil Designers daily.-
- Creating drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit & Civils 3D.-
- Resolve technical problems and issues to support the delivery of projects or design objectives.-
- Prepare technical reports for both internal and external purposes.-
- Provide technical administrative support including project advice and design assessments.-
- Produce preliminary and detailed engineering designs from 11kv to 132kv in compliance with Industry standards, within time and budget.-
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, to include DNO’s/IDNO’s and customers.-
- Assisting Project Managers and site teams in understanding the design.-
- Creating Design Risk Assessments.-
- Assisting and mentoring junior or less experienced design engineers in their development.**Here’s**
**what we need from you**:
Experience with ICP’s, IDNO’s and DNO’s is essential.-
- Experience in managing Civil design projects.-
- Experienced in managing a team of Civil designers.- Ability to work with project managers to overcome any site issues.-
- You are experienced in undertaking project related tasks associated with health, safety, and welfare, e.g., Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.-
- Ability to use Autodesk products and prepare your own drawings.-
- Strong IT and Microsoft skills.-
- Ability to Multitask.-
- Knowledge of ENA/BS/IEC/G81 standards.-
- Commercial awareness.-
- Good and Clear Communication skills.-
