Join my client—a market-leading, people-first business where your skills, ideas, and growth truly matter.They’re proud to be the consultant of choice, the partner to work with, and the place to work—and they’re growing their Sheffield office with a talented Civil Technician ready to take on diverse and exciting infrastructure and development projects.️ The Role:As a Civil Technician, you’ll play a key part in the civil engineering team, responsible for high-quality 2D and 3D modelling, drawing, and detailing across a wide range of projects—including highways, education, commercial, residential, industrial, energy, and petrochemical sectors.Key responsibilities include:Creating and managing BIM models and CAD drawings to a high standardSetting up and maintaining common data environments (CDEs) per BIM protocolsWorking across multiple projects simultaneouslyCollaborating closely with engineers and other disciplinesSupporting and mentoring junior staffContinuously improving processes and contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture What They’re Looking For:HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline2–3 years of experience in civil engineering with BIM/CAD focusProficiency in AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, and InfoDrainageExperience using or a willingness to learn Autodesk RevitCompetency with survey data integration and CDEsStrong communication and team collaboration skillsSelf-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlinesFull UK driving licence Why Join Them?Competitive salary & benefits packageUp to 8.68% employer pension contribution6x salary death-in-service life coverBenefits portal – Cycle to Work, healthcare & retail discountsSupport for professional membership and trainingHoliday trading & Birthday LeaveFlexible/hybrid working potentialA welcoming and collaborative team that supports your growthWhether you're looking to step up in your career or refine your craft in an environment that values innovation, trust, and teamwork, I'd love to hear from you
