Nurseplus are looking for a Junior Technology & IT Support person to join our Technology Team. The ideal person will help us further develop our growing helpdesk function and support our network of 50+ branches across the UK. They will provide first linehardware and software support to the wider business and must therefore possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to identify, define and provide solutions to complex queries in a fast paced environment.

**The main duties of the Junior Technology & IT Support role include**:

- 1st Line Support of all issues (hardware, software, telephony & connectivity)
- Support office moves, new office openings and refit/refreshes of existing offices.
- Provide on site support for branches where required (must have the ability to travel, occasionally at short notice)
- Maintain agreed service levels.
- Assist with Asset Management logging and tracking.
- Provide Project support where required and relevant.
- Provide ideas, feedback and improvements for technology, IT and processes.
- Assume disaster recovery duties as outlined in the Nurseplus disaster recovery and ransomware response plans.
- Potentially provide assistance for out of hours support during emergency situations.
- Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities as required or requested by the Technology Team Manager or the Technology director.
- Some travel will be required across the network as per the business needs.
- Previous experience supporting IT services (Hardware and Software) preferred but not essential.
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to multitask and work well in a fast paced and evolving environment.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication and customer support skills with an ability to tailor responses to varying levels of user understanding and seniority.
- General understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, software and connectivity.
- Strong attention to detail essential.
- Willingness and drive to improve own knowledge and skills through hands on learning and online tutorials.
- Must be able to work as part of a team but manage own workload independently when necessary.
