**Your Role and Impact**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our London-based Index Asset Allocation team as a Portfolio Engineer (PE). The team is responsible for managing around 500 portfolios with an AUM of $100bn on behalf of defined benefit and defined contribution pensionschemes, retail investors, charities and family offices primarily using pooled funds, ETF's and FX derivatives. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and have the know-how to make it happen - both as Students of the Marketas well as Students of Technology
**Your Responsibilities**:

- Daily management of our passive multi-asset portfolios ensuring that cashflows are invested and rebalances implemented in line with client guidelines
- Helping to launch new portfolios and implementing changes to target exposures in existing ones
- Performance review and risk monitoring
- Proactively contribute enhancements to the investment process
- Working alongside our Product Strategy and Sales teams to help respond to client queries
- Contributing positively to our culture and supporting diversity, equity and inclusion

- A passion for financial markets and technology
- Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to remain focused across a wide range of portfolio types and activities
- Strong process awareness and ability to address operational risk issues
- High levels of self-motivation and a strong work-ethic
- A passion to be constantly learning and developing new skills every single day

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- This role would suit someone new or relatively new to the industry
- A desire to work collaboratively and great relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and coding skills
