**Role summary**:
Responsibility with assisting the new business team in all areas of fund take on for a variety of funds including regulated and non-regulated entities. Time could be split between the different fund jurisdictions but mainly dealing with Guernsey domiciled entities.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Client liaison including attending new business meetings and calls for any new enquiries;
- Dealing with fund transactions;
- New business work will involve:
Preparing documentation to be sent to the appropriate committees as appropriate for acceptance or rejection of new businesses;
Preparing fee quotations or engagement letters;
Co-ordinating the responses to any requests for proposals;
Managing the take-on of any new business;
Assisting with the incorporation of companies;
Setting up or reviewing promoter files and preparation and collation of AML/CDD on the promoting party and directors;
Hands on with client during launch process and understanding of requirements, law and regulations;
Review of all launch documentation;
Heling preparing draft administration agreements and subscription forms etc;
Helping to set up new bank accounts, arranging insurance, submitting Guernsey Income Tax, registering directors with the Registry and other duties relating to new Guernsey incorporations;
Assisting with stock exchange listing including (where applicable) LSE, AIM and TISE;
Liaising with 3rd parties involved in the set up and launch process including lawyers, brokers, nomads, custodian, etc;
Close liaison with operational directors and team members across all relevant offices and jurisdictions for transfer/or handover of new business;
Preparing new business checklists and assisting with policy and procedures;
Preparation of papers and agendas and attendance of board meetings during the fund launch process.
- Preparing payment of expenses or reimbursements, including paying on-going expenses of the funds and management companies if required;
- Assisting with the preparation of quarterly reports to the board of the Administrator;
- Setting up any new policies and procedures including tasks in other jurisdictions; and
- Other ad hoc duties which may arise.

**Skills / experience**:

- Demonstrated ability of working effectively in a team;
- Excellent critical analysis and problem-solving skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment;
- Ability to work to key deadlines independently;
- A working knowledge and understanding of Guernsey fund regulations and related licensed entities;
- An awareness of stock exchange requirements for TISE and LSE;
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships;
- 3-4 years working in funds would be preferable but not essential if wishing to consider a trainee role. Consideration will be given to relevant experience.
- Relevant professional qualification at university Graduate level or studying towards a relevant professional qualification, will be viewed favourably.
