Project Services Supervisor

**Job Summary**
- The Project Services Supervisor (PSS) is the line manager for the client-facing Project Services team, which co-ordinates the delivery of all Schlumberger, OneSubsea and third-party scopes of work not specifically controlled by Project Management. The Project Services Team responsibilities include initial order acceptance and contract review, purchase order entry and maintenance/tracking in conjunction with the Planning function, monitoring of work scope execution end-to-end throughout manufacture, providing progress updates to internal and external clients often as the single point of contact, change management of orders during execution, and order billing/invoicing. The team is also responsible for managing all product returns from locations globally, including co-ordination of imports/exports in conjunction with relevant Trade Control Compliance (TCC) teams.
- The PSS is a hands-on role, managing the customer-facing team whilst also actively assisting with the team’s day-to-day operational responsibilities. A significant part of the PSS role is to manage the relationship and information flow between the OneSubsea Barrow plant and all internal and external customers. The PSS is also responsible for developing and maintaining procedures, work instructions, and metrics/service level agreements relevant to the operation of the team and ensuring that the correct processes and procedures are adhered-to at all times.**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**
- Line manager for client-facing Project Services team, setting & monitoring annual objectives, performing annual performance reviews
- Purchase Order (PO) receipt, contract review
- Entry of PO demand into MRP system, co-ordinated with Planning to ensure optimised plant loading
- Creating and submitting formal PO acknowledgements to clients
- Facilitate formal handover of incoming work scopes to Manufacturing
- Work closely with internal Barrow business functions to establish PO status
- Often acting as the single point of contact, provide regular updates on PO progress to OneSubsea, Schlumberger and third-party customers
- Deal with customer queries and co-ordinate responses on behalf of the business
- Process Schlumberger orders using OneCat, SWPS and other applicable business systems
- Process and submit invoices
- Ensure the efficient running of the global product returns (RAN) process
- Training and mentoring of Project Services staff
- Occasional travel to other internal & external client sites for training, process development, and information sharing

**Qualifications & Experience Requirements**
- Experience in a customer-facing role is essential
- Experience of leading & mentoring a team is essential
- High level of proficiency in the use of MRP business systems is essential
- Experience in the global subsea oil and gas industry is highly desirable
- Experience in the operation of a product returns process is highly desirable
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level in a relevant discipline is highly desirable
- Formal management qualification preferred
