Due to our continued development, Global Wind Service is looking to appoint a Head of Recruitment, to be based in Denmark, UK or Poland, within a commutable distance of our offices in Fredericia, Lowestoft or Szczecin.
Global Wind Service is a leading supplier of manpower for wind turbine installation and servicing, with offices located in 13 countries and over 1700 employees across the globe. Our business is dynamic, fast-paced, flexible and adaptable to our clients’ needs in order to deliver excellent service and results.
As Head of Recruitment at Global Wind Service, you will lead our team of recruitment professionals on delivering skilled technician manpower to projects, ensure continuous improvement of all aspects of our Talent Acquisition process and drive operational recruitment performance and TA activities towards our Operations and HR Business Partner Team. You will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer, based at our company headquarters in Denmark.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with our international offices to drive continuous improvement of our recruitment function at all levels. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with leadership competencies and the ability to lead and inspire a team and a passion for the recruitment and the continuous growth and development of the function within the organisation. You should expect travel on a regular basis, approximately 30 days per year.
**Job description**:
- Owning recruitment planning and strategy relating to skilled Wind Turbine Technicians
- Ensuring short-, medium
- and long-term strategies for recruitment of qualified technicians
- Ensuring and executing the capacity model, ramp-up plans, dashboards and KPI’s enabling timely and data driven decisions
- Continuous development and improvements of both processes and tools related to Recruitment
- Management of the Recruitment Team, located at multiple locations within the EU (Poland, Romania, UK)
- Leading, motivating and developing the Recruitment Function and team focusing on strategy, continuous improvement, tools and data driven decisions
**Job requirements**:
- Experience within a similar international organisation, preferably with employees working across borders
- Recruitment Agency mindset
- In depth knowledge of high-volume recruitment related challenges
- Experience of recruitment of hourly paid and technically skilled employees
- Experience in the Wind industry is preferred
- Experience in working with Recruitment data, KPI’s and capacity models
- People leadership experience
- Experience of working within a matrix organisation
- Data driven with an analytical and Operational mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Stakeholder Management
- Flexibility and pragmatism
- Cross cultural understanding
- High level of personal integrity
- Fluent in English
