**About us**:
Springboard was established in Congleton in 2003. Our aim is to support adults with training and career progression, helping them to achieve their ambitions in work and in life.

With support from government funding, we deliver outreach employability training, bespoke information advice and guidance and tutor led, high quality courses and qualifications across Chesire East.

**Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for someone with the relevant skills, knowledge, and experience who wants to make a difference to their local community. Primarily, we are looking for someone who will be a great fit for our team, who is innovative, a natural problem solver, has the ability to be flexible and can confidently manage a varied workload, turning their hand to a range of tasks and challenges.

- Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum: Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
- A fixed term contract until March 2026.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To design and deliver innovative, engaging and motivational classroom-based sessions to our students.
- To deliver a range of digital skills courses leading to recognised qualifications.
- To manage a case load of students working across Cheshire East. This will include monitoring their online studies, one-to-one progress reviews.
- To work alongside our Careers Advisers supporting adults with their digital and employability skills.
- Preparing lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Completing individual learning plans demonstrating the impact of the training for students.
- To keep accurate student records in accordance with GDPR/data protection legislation.
- To collate and report against targets on a weekly basis.
- To review and implement the use of training tools and technology to improve delivery to our students.
- To ensure a standardisation of processes, training resources and materials, as part of ongoing quality improvement and monitoring.
- To adhere to the requirements of external funding and awarding bodies as required.
- To ensure that courses are well coordinated and resourced across Cheshire East.
- To carry out all of the above duties in line with the company’s equal opportunities policy and act responsibly at all times to adhere to the organisation’s health and safety policy.

**Person Specification**:
**Essential**:

- Teaching or training qualification (AET/CET/DET) or recognised equivalent
- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English grade C / 5 or above.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an adult educational or training setting delivering digital skills training.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as working on own initiative.
- Ability to build a rapport, build strong connections and maintain relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to manage a diverse workload whilst balancing priorities, delivering quality work and meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of (and commitment) to Equality, Diversity, & Inclusion.
- Employment rights to live and work in the UK.
- DBS check.
- Full clean UK driving licence required and access to a vehicle

**Desirable**:

- Assessor qualification including D32/D33 A1 or equivalent.
- IAG Qualification.
- Experience of delivering employability support to adults.
