Btec Applied Science Tutor

**About us**

**We are now hiring passionate, knowledgeable and dedicated, tutors/teachers of BTEC Applied Science for 5-7 hours per week.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions
- Develop and implement individualised lesson plans based on student's needs and goals
- Assess student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on student's progress
- Utilise effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Assist students in developing study skills and organisational techniques

**Skills**:

- A good working knowledge of the BTEC Applied Science syllabus
- Experience working with children or students in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners
- Familiarity with special education is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £30.00-£32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 7 per week
