The Siemens Digital Industries facility in Congleton is an award-winning facility, responsible for designing, manufacturing and servicing inverters for the global industrial market. The factory is undertaking an ambitious digital transformation to help increase productivity and deliver more innovative products and services to our customers.

**The challenge**

This apprenticeship will be working within our Supply Chain Management Department working as part of the Order Management Team. The Order Management team maintain high customer satisfaction by prioritising and processing customer orders, reporting key business performance information and working with other manufacturing sites to manage the sharing of critical part allocations.

Typical responsibilities of our Order Management Team include
- Co-ordinating with logistics teams in Congleton and Germany, production colleagues, and sales teams, to prioritise customer orders and ensure on time delivery
- Providing data and analysis on Key Delivery Performance Indicators
- Monitoring and reporting on Order Intake
- Managing spike orders and items on sales allocation
- Processing customer orders, from order entry through to invoicing, identifying and resolving any issues
- Supporting the dispatch team, with export process and controls
- Supporting other factories with critical part shares.
- Identifying processes that could be automated or digitalised and implementing solutions where possible

- Very personable and happy to communicate with a wide range of people internal to Siemens and external.
- Organised and a good eye for detail.

**Minimum Educational Requirements**:
You will have achieved or be on track to achieve at least 3 A Levels (or BTEC equivalent) at grade C or above.

Alongside your day to day role you will also be studying towards your Degree Apprenticeship in Supply Chain Management at Leeds Trinity University

**What else do I need to know?**

Throughout the apprenticeship there will be the requirement of shift work and overtime as well as travel to other UK Siemens locations and potentially outside the UK.
