The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. The Faculty of Infectious and Tropical Diseases (ITD) is seeking to appoint an education-focused Research Fellow in Travel Medicine to support the development and delivery of a new online short course in Travel Medicine.

The post-holder will work closely with the Course Director Nicky Longley, the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) multimedia team, and colleagues across LSHTM to design, develop, and deliver an innovative online programme. They will create engaging and research-informed teaching resources, mentor others in best practice, and contribute to the wider dissemination of educational innovation within and beyond LSHTM.

The post is funded by the Faculty of Infectious and Tropical Diseases and is available from 05 January 2026. The post is part-time (0.6 FTE; 21 hours per week) and fixed term for a duration of 18 months. The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £45,728 - £51,872 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting).
