A real stand out and unique opportunity, we are working with a highly respected and established legal firm to develop their Private Client practice with the appointment at either a Director/Head Of level.

Arising as part of continued growth and development, our client has a wealth of experience within this area supported by a diverse client base.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to take the next step in your career in terms of leadership, with this offering a great deal of autonomy in line with our clients succession planning. This position will be based in our clients offices inEdinburgh, as our client is WFH at present they envisage a blended approach in the medium to longer term.

Role Responsibilities

As Director or Head Of, your responsibilities will include:

- Taking an active role in developing and growing the existing private client offering, working closely with the other practice areas in the firm to do so and raising the profile of the private client division through various business development activities.
- Meeting with and advising clients on a range of issues.
- Providing advice to clients on a wide range of matters which would include powers of attorney, wills, tax planning, trusts, executries and guardianships amongst other issues.
- Acting as the main point of contact within the private client team.
- Supporting and leading junior team members including support staff.

Person Specification

For this role, our client is more focused on bringing on board a dynamic and driven private client professional who is keen to undertake a new challenge and driver forward the existing team. Ideally, you will have:

- Minimum of 8 Years PQE in private client with demonstrable experience of managing a varied caseload and client base (including HNW's).
- Experience of managing junior team members or similar experience of supporting in their career development.
- A demonstrable background in successfully carrying out business development across a variety of activities including webinars, general marketing and networking.
- A full STEP qualification or be working towards achieving.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A genuine team player and collegiate approach.
