Role - Test Analyst / QA Tester
Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Location - Blackburn Twice a Week

I'm recruiting on behalf of an Industry Leading Finance & Asset Management company, who are looking for a Test Analyst to join their teams. The position has arisen due to continued growth and the unveiling of a brand new Asset Finance System. Ideal for someonewho is looking for that next step in their career in Software Testing, the role will be centred around a hybrid working model based in Blackburn 2/3 times a week. See spec below for more details:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Review requirements and User Stories, working closely with Business Analysts and test resource
- Work closely with peers in the business to understand business process and testing requirements
- Provide Quality Assurance for Operational systems
- Lead testing of Reporting & Integrations
- Create Test Plans
- Develop and perform manual Testing
- Perform regression Testing for new releases
- Creating and maintaining test data
- Designing and executing test conditions and test cases
- Raising bugs and liaising with the development team through to resolution
- Setting up and configuring the testing environment and associated database(s)

**Required skills and experience**
- Software testing and analytical testing experience
- Experience in Manual testing
- Experience of preparing test documentation including test plans, test scripts, defect reports and progress updates
- Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life cycle

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Test Analyst/QA Tester
- ISQTB or equivalent desired
- Experience in designing and executing Test Script
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
