**Salary**: up to £26,000 dependant on experience

**Role Summary**
***Your overall responsibility is to complete display screen assessments (DSE assessments) either remotely or face to face at the employers work station for the Metropolitan Police Service.
***Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Advice provided to the Met Police employees will be in line with both HSE's standards and Optima Health's guidance.
- The assessor should have a good understanding of the specialist equipment available and keep up to date with new developments
- The DSE assessor will understand their own knowledge and skill limitations, therefore knowing when to escalate a case within the MPS Occupational Health team.
- The assessor will comply with all Optima Health policies, procedures and practices and to be responsible for keeping up to date with any changes to these
- The assessor will be aware of the employer's and employee's legal duties under the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992.
- Ensure that reports are of a high standard and reach the required audit standard
- Keep up to date with the latest equipment on the market with regards to DSE
- Keep up to date with HSE guidance and maintain knowledge of relevant professional health issues, particularly those related to health & wellbeing, the MPS and Occupational Health
***Experience, skills and knowledge required for the role**
- Experience in advising individuals on health promotion recommendations
- Experience in writing quality reports
- Appreciation of clinical governance structures
