Reporting into the Head of Technical the Technical Assistant will be responsible for a broad range of duties to ensure our products meet all technical standards and comply with all regulations in order for our products to be fit for consumers.

Duties include:

- Complete raw material, packaging and factory specifications
- Artwork approvals, pack copies, legal labelling, claims and authenticity
- Conduct internal auditing to monitor and maintain compliance.
- Manage responses for Customer Complaint Investigations.
- Support with pest control services
- Conduct internal audits and schedules including: Internal; Fabrication; Glass & Hard Plastic; Process; GMP.
- Conduct external audits: Customer; Government Organisations; Site Accreditations.
- Traceability; Mass Balances.
- Coordination of site calibration.
- Documentation control - completion, review, and maintenance.
- Factory line standards and QAS’s
- Promote Food Safety Culture through engagement, workshops and education.
- Sampling plan and schedules: logging, communicating and actioning tests & results.
- Manage supplier approval system - certification etc
- Medicated product screening.
- Prohibited substance risk assessments - prohibited ingredients i.e., growth hormones, heavy metals, additives SMS, pesticides etc

**Essential**
- Microsoft: Word; Excel; Powerpoint.
- Demonstrate experience of auditing internal and external
- Experience of managing document control systems
- Legal labelling training
- Experience of artwork approvals and specifications.

**Desirable**
- Experience of managing contractors; traceability; specifications.
