Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Operational Account Manager for a worldwide Freight Forwarder. The company is based in Staines upon Thames area.

**Job purpose - General Summary and Scope**
- Build and expand relationships within our customer network
- Ensure a high-level and consistent service is delivered, continuously reviewing Key Performance Indicators, customer requested reporting requirements, and additional ad hoc projects across all international and domestic locations
- Seek continuous improvement of system and process developments to provide the required information for our customer in the most efficient way possible
- To liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
- Accomplishes department objectives by working with the branch managers to plan and evaluate department activities and support with projects and tasks where required

**Key duties and responsibilities**

**Account Manager Job Duties:

- **
- Operate as a key customer contact for any and all matters specific to their operations
- Work as the conduit between the Sales Team and Operational team to ensure needs of customer are met
- Deliver specific KPI’s as outlined by the client and sharing as defined by client. Submitting reports of the same as required within the specified timelines (eg MBR / QBR)
- Building excellent rapport and communication channels with network and the client contacts.
- Escalation of any issues/ concerns or identified improvements in a timely manner.
- To be available for Client queries and client performance calls
- Provide a consultative approach to deliver the best products and service in the industry. Be solution orientated and innovative to the client needs
- Have brand and marketing awareness both on behalf of your client but also on behalf of Company.
- Working with the team and communicating internally about client projects with key actions and deadlines.
