**The job itself**:
Are you interested in furthering your career within a multi-disciplinary team within a large organisation? We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated team player with property / construction experience to support the council’s Strategic Asset Management function.

The postholder will be part of a strategic team that works across the council and the East Riding, ensuring the optimum performance of buildings and land across the council’s property portfolio. The team also strategically leads the development of exciting large-scale projects from inception to completion.

The postholder will have the opportunity to develop and learn a wide range of transferable skills such as bidding for funding, options appraisal, monitoring building performance, research skills and allocating and monitoring resources. The post also involves project management in an assistant capacity.

There may also be opportunities for stakeholder management, including with external stakeholders. It’s a varied and interesting role which can function as a springboard to progressing the postholder’s career.
