What does the role involve?

**We operate a hybrid approach, whereby required attendance of the Trowbridge office is a minimum of 2 days per week.**

**Some of your key duties will include**:

- Reviewing and authorising jobs through 1link system
- Querying a job or price with a supplier and negotiating to find a more suitable resolution
- Utilising your expert technical knowledge
- Providing an efficient service to customers and suppliers alike

What are we looking for?

You're knowledgeable about vehicle maintenance and repair, and the compliance involved with this. You have a broad knowledge of basic mechanical issues, right through to more complex problems that may require the use of advance fault-finding tools. You're a tenacious problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet and act promptly. You can build rapport with suppliers in dealerships and garages, and feel comfortable working in a more corporate environment.

Having specialist knowledge or experience with HGV's is very advantageous for this role.

Also, we're looking for the following:

- Good knowledge of vehicle mechanics and repairs
- Good computer skills, with the ability to learn new systems and adapt to processes quickly
- Ability to work on your own initiative and possess great problem-solving skills
- Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ is highly desirable
