We are seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer who can work independently and is a team player with

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES IT Infrastructure Engineer:
To work as an infrastructure engineer with the IT team, delivering support and complex infrastructure
projects across a range of businesses to ISO 27001 standards and procedures. The role will cover
Desktop, Server, Active Directory, Networking, Firewalls, Virtual environments, Telephone and Cloud
Services and other corporate IT systems. You will be expected to communicate via Microsoft Teams,
expected to work independently and as part of a team undertaking complex IT projects and resolve
complex support tickets within defined time scales in a high-pressure environment. You will work in an
environment of fast changing technologies, and you will be expected to self-educate and can document
complex solutions. You will be expected to adopt a flexible approach to working hours to meet deadlines.
In addition, as a senior stakeholder you will be expected to mentor and train other team members to the
required level.
Reporting to the Group I.T. Manager the core responsibilities are:
? Manage and deliver complex and critical IT projects to tight deadlines
Assist in rotation on the IT support desk with other team members and servicing second and
third-line support tickets to ISO 27001 standards

? IT system compliance and reports
? Helping to create and maintain playbooks and keep documentation up to date
? Assist colleagues managing reassigning/escalating tickets within service level agreements
? Build client computer systems from scripts and troubleshoot issues
? Build and develop new scripts for computers systems
? Promote and maintain high quality work and deliver in a professional manner
? Test and evaluate hardware and software
? Provide troubleshooting resolutions, updating/upgrading of systems and software
Create and maintain IT maintenance tasks such as backup and patch management to ISO
27001 standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
? Previous experience in an IT helpdesk role level 1-3 including high level problem solving
? Previous experience managing and delivering complex IT Projects
Deep knowledge of Networks and Microsoft Windows Active Directory environments and
Office 365
?
Skills including Telephony, Windows, Linux, IP, Cisco/Checkpoint firewalls, VMWare/Hyper-V
?
? Ability to manage and mentor other members of the team
? Complex system design and problem analysis
? Experience of routers, switches
? Experience of financial systems
? Hold MCP qualifications
? Experience in a senior IT technical lead role
? Detailed Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and requirements
? Experience of Azure cloud technologies.
