Sellick partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Environmental Coordinator for a Social housing organisation based in Tees Valley.
The Environmental Coordinator will be expected to support the development and implementation of a group wide approach to measure, manage and improve our environmental impacts.
**Responsibilities of the Environmental Coordinator**:
- Support the development of an organisational approach to environmental management
- Support the development of a group wide environmental aspects, risk and legislation register
- Work with internal teams to identify areas of risk and agree methods of mitigation
- Support the delivery of a group wide environmental impacts action plan, to reduce the organisations environmental impacts and carbon footprint in line with agreed KPI's and timescale
- Support the implementation of an approach to ensure all group policies and procedures support Thirteen's approach to environmental management and legislative needs, as identified
- Promote and raise awareness with internal and external stakeholders of thirteens approach to managing environmental impacts and the wider climate change agenda
- Seek and build beneficial relationships with external stakeholders, such as LA's regulatory authorities and environmental specialist
- Work alongside the Environmental Impacts Manager to ensure the successful delivery of environmental projects taking the lead on specific projects as appropriate
**Requirements of the Environmental Coordinator**:
- Degree level qualification, ideally in Environmental/Housing discipline, or equivalent demonstratable professional experience
- IEMA Practitioner or working towards
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience delivering environmental management systems
