**2x SEN Teaching Assistant - Salford - ASAP**

We are working with a secondary school in Salford, who are looking to secure the services of 2 outstanding Teaching Assistant, for a long-term position to support pupils with additional needs. This particular role is to support the needs of students withSEN, who may display low-level challenging behaviours and can become disengaged from learning quite quickly. You must be comfortable with EBD/SEMH. To be successful in this role, it is essential you are calm, resilient and overall, have a good sense of humour.

This post is to start as soon as possible and will be a long term position until July with the potential of it becoming permanent if the first 2 terms are a success.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have recent experience supporting secondary school aged children with additional needs, either on a 121 or in a small group setting.

**CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS**
- Location - Salford
- Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
- Type of work - Teaching Support
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract type - Temporary then becoming permanent
- Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - £80 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 4 pm

**EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree educated with a good classification
- Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)
- Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential we can provide training)
- Up to date behaviour/classroom management training (desirable, and training can be provided)

**TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST**:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional child related references
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
- In-house Training and Development Team
