JOB TITLE: Credit Controller

LOCATION: Ashford

SALARY: £26k + bonus

HOURS: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, free parking and modern offices

YOUR DUTIES WITHIN YOUR NEW POSITION WOULD BE:

- The monitoring and collection of current & overdue debts
- Telephone calls to clients and establishing strong relationships
- Setting up new clients on our internal systems/ad hoc invoicing
- Monitor and review client credit limits
- Regular debt monitoring and reporting
- Liaising with the branch network to resolve queries
- Production of reminder letters and escalation letters
- Follow up of reminder letter process
- Bad Debt collection legal procedures, including liaison with solicitors and other collection agencies
- Cash allocation
- Bespoke invoicing using various client systems/portals and reconciliation to our internal systems
- Ad hoc client reports using Excel
- Arranging the set up and monthly collection of clients paying by Direct Debit
- Use of Portal systems to obtain payment (Councils, etc.)

WE'D LOVE TO SPEAK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Credit Control experience
- An understanding of Sales Ledger
