We have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Video Editor / Content Creator to join our growing marketing team and edit videos and create beautiful design work for marketing campaigns across a full range of digital and some print based media, working 3-4 days a week in our Redditch office and the balance from home.
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will have a passion for all things video and design, and dedicated to continuous development of your creative and digital skill sets.
You will be working within the marketing team, working with our other content creators to support all content creation, bringing your creative mindset and design skills to flesh out the intricacies of marketing campaigns, tailoring content for website and social media consumption as well as support sales teams and distributors with impactful brochures and training materials.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be influential in the marketing of a growing company whilst building on their video editing and graphic design skill.
**The role**:
- Create company videos that promote our range of products and services, by repurposing existing content or supporting the production of new videos.
- Edit various video projects with confidence and creative flair in inserting sound effects, music, and transitions that fit within the company brand guidelines.
- Create clear and easy to understand concept/story boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects.
- Translate spoken ideas, content, and the brand identity into highly appealing video content.
- Edit product imagery for promotional purposes.
- Maintain content files and help to organise existing video and graphics files for the team.
- Support the team with creating and reviewing copy across design and video work.
- Ensuring designs are on brief, within brand guidelines and delivered on-time.
- Be able to communicate the brand guidelines and tone of voice to staff across the business as well as external stakeholders - at all levels.
- Managing projects from initial idea to final completion.
- Proofing and reviewing designs, videos and documents before they are signed off with a demonstrable keen eye for meticulous detail.
- Assisting on the creative production side when needed and providing feedback.
**The requirements**:
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Premier Pro, Illustrator, In-Design, Audition and Photoshop experience.
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to effectively proof your own work (written English, quality of work, detailing, alignment etc.)
- Demonstrate creativity and the ability to introduce and deliver new ideas.
- Working to briefs accurately and promptly.
**About you**:
- You have an educational background in cinematography/video editing, digital design OR a proven track record and passion for creating visually appealing and engaging videos that draw upon cinematography and audio.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently and build great rapport with all members of the team and external stakeholders.
- You feel comfortable with feedback. You can evolve your ideas and deliverables to incorporate feedback to ensure visuals fit the brand language and mission values.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment, and great at time management. You will be able to adapt easily to changing priorities and take responsibility to keep track of changes.
- A critical thinker with advanced problem-solving skills and strong technical expertise.
- Commercially aware and understand the marketing industry itself. This includes understanding the competitor landscape and what factors ultimately make marketing campaigns successful revenue generators.
- Excellent time management and project management skills. You will be highly organised, thorough and be able to meet tight deadlines in an (occasionally) high-pressure environment.
**Salary**: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
