Due to a period of impressive growth and expansion, my forward-thinking client based in Faversham is looking to recruit a dynamic Fixed Asset Accountant. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working to specific deadlines you will play a hugelyimportant role in the continued success of this company.
Job Responsibilities:

- Process asset requests daily
- Process monthly settlements of completed tangible fixed asset projects
- Assist with the recharging of project costs where required
- Process asset disposals as required
- Process impairment of fixed assets as required
- Run depreciation monthly
- Reconcile the fixed asset register to the general ledger monthly
- Monthly reporting of fixed asset additions, disposals and depreciation for the board
- Assist with analysis of fixed asset additions and disposals for corporation tax purposes
- Preparation of the capital expenditure, disposal and depreciation budgets
- Settlements of functional locations, events and customers monthly
- Preparation of estates expenditure budgets
- Reporting of performance versus estates expenditure budget as required
- Assistance with year-end tasks relating to fixed assets including preparation of the Fixed Assets note
- Maintaining a schedule of assets held for sale
- Ad hoc assistance for the Financial Planning and Reporting Manager

It is imperative that you have advanced Excel skills with previous experience in a similar role.You must be reliable, highly numerate and methodical in prioritising your workload. The minimum requirement for this role is AAT qualified.
