**Job Title**: Northern Services Administrator

**Location**: Hulme, Manchester

**Hours of Work**:PT: 28 hours per week; 4 days per week (fixed days: Mon, Tues, Fri +1)

**Contract**:6 months FTC; potential extension thereafter

**Salary**:circa £21,000 (pro-rata) per annum

**About the organisation**:
WIPUK is a national charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of women affected by the criminal justice system. We campaign for a new system of justice - one that addresses the root causes of offending (including homelessness, substance use,mental ill health and experiences of poverty, trauma, and abuse).

The organisation's mission is to persuade decision-makers to radically reduce the women's prison population, by demonstrating how a focus on human rights, social justice, health and investment in specialist community support services, including women's centres,enables women to move forward with their lives.

**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Women's Centre covering Manchester and Trafford. Women in Prison are seeking an experienced administrator to organise, supervise and carry out the activities required to ensure the smooth running of theirNorthern office; ensuring that data recording for monitoring and evaluation is complete, accurate and up to date; and to provide administrative support to the Manager, Project Workers and other staff.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Provide welcoming and effective first point of contact for callers, service users, external agencies and other visitors, including referrals and signposting to other agencies and services.
- Support manager with staff induction, provision of equipment and associated record keeping.
- Act as point of contact for staff regarding all IT systems including setting up new users on all systems.
- Administer WomenMATTA's social media accounts e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instgram.
- Keep complete, accurate and up to date records for project monitoring and evaluation.
- Prepare and distribute reports in collaboration with the Service Manager.
- Process and input all new referrals onto both WIP and Greater Manchester Women's Support Alliance monitoring systems.
- Contribute to monitoring system development by giving feedback and suggestions;

- Performing a range of administrative tasks for a small, busy organisation.
- Effective spoken and written communication skills with a wide range of people, including service users, partner agencies, members of the public and staff.
- Adaptability and flexibility in being able to take on new roles and manage a range of different internal relationships.
- Social media e.g. Twitter
