**Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant**

**Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00 - 17:00 - 37.5 hours per week**

**Your primary responsibilities will include**:
**Main Responsibilities**
- This role is ideal for a suitably experienced assistant management accountant. Good accounting knowledge, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deal with a heavy workload are essential skills to be successful within this position. _

You will be responsible for:

- Inter-company reconciliation
- Month end cost allocations
- Credit Card Expense Postings
- National Statistic Submissions
- Responsibility for an area of corporate management accounts
- Cover for the Finance Business Partner in their absence
- Responsibility for the reconciliation of balance sheet codes
- Monthly consolidation reporting & review of divisional submissions
- Maintaining Group mapping across various systems
- Support with budgeting and forecasting
- Technical accounting research
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders including those overseas
- Completing ad-hoc tasks as required by the corporate finance function
- Agreeing inter-company balances with other group entities and working with the divisions during the month to ensure both side have all details required to post costs passed across
- Correctly allocate costs between corporate departments and group divisions based on back up data from consolidated invoices
- Assist with the implementation and monthly processing of the corporate directors credit card statements, including taking responsibility for the up keep of the agreed new platform
- Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annual and Annual returns of information requested by the Office for National Statistics within the timelines set by the Government.
- Ownership of a number of corporate balance sheet codes, ensuring they are reconciled on a monthly basis, ensuring all discrepancies or potential issues are highlighted to the Finance Business Partner
- Experience within a busy finance team
- Experience in a finance department is desirable
- Working towards a finance qualification
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills with high attention to detail
- Confident communicator, with the ability to articulate a high level of oral and written English
- Intermediate Excel capabilities
- Independent thinker, keen problem solver with a 'can do' attitude
- You must live in the UK
