We are seeking to recruit a Senior Management Information Officer to join the Education/Early Help business intelligence and systems team within Devon County Council.

The role is responsible for leading the Early Help/Supporting Families management information team delivering on Devon’s Early Help and the Supporting Families programme specified by the department for levelling up, housing and communities (DLUHC)

The post holder will require strong leadership experience and project management delivery in a wide portfolio of responsibilities including

Data and Intelligence/Reporting
- Define and deliver all aspects of the data management system to deliver on Devon’s obligations to the Supporting Families programme specified by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities (DLUHC)
- Meet with internal, external partnership and national colleagues to develop data/intelligence reporting, and systems to ensure Devon County Council meets the data requirements linked to the Early Help/Supporting Families
- Ensuring delivery of Payment by Results (PBR) claims to target by using data sources to validate claims presented to Audit.

Software Development and User Support
- Working with software suppliers and Devon teams to ensure case management, Master Data management (MDM) and warehousing solutions allow real time access, automated processing, and secure datasets.
- Provide system support and helpdesk for case management solution, ensuring issues are delivered to resolution.
- Maintaining and delivering against the DLUHC data maturity model and ensuring that Devon continues to move towards data maturity target.
- Ensure proportionate and appropriate storage of data in keeping with GDPR requirements

Team Management
- Directly manage, management information officers inclusive of day-to-day work direction, performance management and development.

The postholder will work to develop a strong performance culture with robust, accurate and rapid access to data at the fingertips of managers and staff across multiple areas of work.

This is an exciting time of development within Devon County Council, transforming to use the latest technology (Power BI, Azure, focusing on the Microsoft BI Stack) centralising system data via the master data management (MDM) solution and shifting our focus from simply serving data to instead being an analytical partner for the services we support.

**The role will be a hybrid role with home and office working. Office working will be at County Hall, Exeter.**

**Salary**: £35,411.00-£39,493.00 per year
