Our client, a professional services business located in Warrington are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their friendly team. This is a key role and will be responsible for the oversight of the day to day finance operations, driving performance, optimising profitability and strategic decision making. Applicants will need to be available at short notice, ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience at a similar level. A very flexible approach to working is on offer, including lots of benefits.

**Salary: £50-60k depending on experience.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting and influencing commercial and non-financial performance related decision making
- Managing performance, financial risks and opportunities and implementing robust financial controls
- Promoting strong working relationships across finance and the wider business
- Providing financial reporting and interpreting financial information to non-finance staff and senior leadership teams
- Advising on investment opportunities and providing strategy
- Oversight of payroll and liaising with the relevant parties
- Analysis of costs, pricing, sales vs actual performance, including developing trends and projections for future
- Identifying cost reduction opportunities and making recommendations
- Preparation of the budgets
- Liaising with auditors for year end

**Requirements**:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified - CFA/CPA will also be considered
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
