**Responsibilities**:
As a Senior Social Media Lead you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients with their social media and commerce strategies to create a best-in-class social commerce experience, looking for inspiring innovative and creative ways for consumers to connectand make purchases via social platforms. In addition, you will play an imperative role in driving the growth of the department within Wunderman Thompson, supporting current clients and actively searching for new client opportunities within this exciting newspace.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Manage and execute overall department strategy and execution plan for Wunderman Thompson Commerce’s social commerce offering
- Oversee and guide the Social Commerce team within Wunderman Thompson Commerce, and external partners.
- Execute growth and sales strategy for the Social Commerce department within Wunderman Thompson - working closely with Account Directors, Consultants and New Business on current client opps and wider RFPs.
- Responsible for delivering internal presentations and external client presentations as and when required.
- Support client engagements from a social strategy perspective
- Responding to and supporting the wider business with RFPs from a social perspective - creating the proposals and working alongside the teams internally and external partners where needed.
- Manage the sales pipeline with monthly reporting on revenue, spend, resourcing and opportunities for the Social Commerce department, working closely with Head of Social / Director of eRetail and Marketplaces.
- Support with all Social Commerce enquires and PR opportunities.

**What we want from you**:

- Strong understanding of social media, social platforms and social strategy
- Experience of working with global brands from a digital perspective
- Experience of creating strategies for clients
- Previous experience in a social, digital or eCommerce role
- Confidence in networking, influencing and partnering with senior clients
- Experience in digesting, interpreting and responding to client briefs in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lead projects and present strategic thinking on a regular basis
- Confident in presenting to a room of senior level executives
- Flexible, adaptable and capable of managing an internal team, as well as external partners
- Highly consultative and confident in recommending creative solutions to clients

- Degree qualified in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Communications or Business
- Previous experience in a Senior Social role
