As a Porter, you will complete daily/nightly tasks relating to the delivery of cleaning services at the International Convention Centre and Utilita Arena Birmingham, ensuring client satisfaction and customer excellence are achieved, and services are delivered to agreed standards.

**Main Duties**
- Manoeuvring furniture across the venue, carrying a stack of 8 chairs on a trolley to different parts of the venue setting and breaking down of the furniture once events are finished.
- Ensuring cleaning activities are carried out to the highest standards. The cleaning activities will include mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins and cleaning toilet facilities, litter picking tribunes, and public circulation areas.
- Sweep/Vacuum all floor areas as required according to the composition of the floor, Damp wipe doors, shelves, seating, kiosks, handrails, phones & fire hydrants and collect waste, empty boxes when requested.
- Responsible for keeping all areas relating to the event clean and litter free at all times.
- Responsible for keeping all public toilets and circulation areas clean, tidy & free from litter at all times including lifts, stairs. Ensuring all spillages are dealt with immediately.
