Financial Analysis Director

Pure are pleased to be recruiting a Director of Financial Analysis for a well know property developer based in Central Essex.
The role reports into the Divisional Managing Director to review financial appraisals, pre-start budgets and technical budgets to ensure accuracy and optimum profitability within Company targets & parameters.
You will also co-ordinate the preparation of financial appraisals and sensitivity analyses for land acquisitions, option agreements, strategy decisions etc.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the accurate & timely production of appraisals and sensitivities
- Assist the New Business Team in the analysis of information for the preparation of land bids.
- Assist in the production of monthly appraisal and budget updates with special note being made regarding variances in cost/profitability.
- Lead the Monthly Director Appraisal Review meeting
- Liaise and consult with other parts of the Division / Group in relation to the incorporation of strategic land within the housebuilding Divisions.
- Update and review appraisals for the annual Budget and Five Year Plan cycles

Experience needed:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong business / financial modelling experience, ideally within the construction / property sector
- A problem solver, thinking laterally to present solutions rather than issues, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage own workloads and accurately work to tight deadlines
