The overall purpose of Think Family Intensive Autism Support is to support children with Autism (or in the process of an autism assessment being undertaken) and their parent/carer.

The service aims to enable families and young people with autism to better understand the diagnosis and develop strategies to manage behaviour.All services are developed in partnership with parent, carer and the children themselves.

The post holder will work under supervision to provide group based autism programmes to children with an autism diagnosis or undergoing an assessment for autism, their parents/carers/siblings, and professionals in order to enhance carer's skills and abilitiesand thus improve family functioning.
